The color variant Negro in Matt presents a deep, velvety black that gently absorbs light. The surrounding facet creates subtle shadow plays and gives your walls an elegant relief structure — both classic and modern. The Pitcox series consists of glazed earthenware for interior use. The matte glaze reduces reflections and can be easily cleaned with a mild detergent. Thanks to its waterproof properties and high dimensional stability, the tile can be laid quickly and remains beautifully durable in everyday use.
Our tip: a running (half) bond creates the authentic Metro character, while a row or stack bond appears particularly purist. White grout emphasizes the format; dark grout produces a calm, monolithic surface. The matte black also harmonizes excellently with wood, brass and marble.
