Sensitive surfaces should be processed with special materials and tools that leave no scratch marks or damage. Soiling caused by tile adhesive or mortar should be removed immediately.

Material properties of the end profiles

The Schlüter®-RONDEC-DB end profile is available in various designs. You can choose between a stainless steel profile made of aluminum, anodized aluminum and anodized aluminum brass anodized. . The Schlüter®-RONDEC-DB-A stainless steel profile is made of aluminum. If chemical exposure is expected, the usability must be checked. Aluminum is particularly sensitive to alkaline media. Grouting material or mortar on visible surfaces should therefore be removed immediately. The end profile must be fully embedded in the contact layer to form a tile. This prevents alkaline water from collecting in cavities. The Schlüter®-RONDEC-DB-AE end profile and -AM stainless steel profile are made of anodized aluminum. Due to the anodized layer, they have a refined surface. In normal use, it retains its appearance. Visible surfaces must be protected from scratching or abrasive wear. The tile profile impresses with its attractive appearance and practical properties. Since it is made of aluminum, you benefit from durability and optimized durability. To ensure that the attractive decor is retained for a long time, some care instructions should be observed. In any case, the noble jet profile must be protected from the formation of corrosion.
