In ancient times, the peacock was a symbol of immortality. Its impressive plumage represented the image of the sky. The graceful imitations of its magnificent plumage, embedded in fragments in this glass mosaic, appear in a different light. In the color variants blue and green, they decorate the light interior of each of the impressive glass mosaics. Depending on the incidence of light, the details of the shimmering eyes and tail feathers of the peacock stand out with varying intensity and plasticity and underline the characteristic width and complexity of this creation.
The finely polished, shiny surface offers an optical phenomenon that, depending on the perspective, paves the way into the depths of the tesserae. Assembling the small glass plates into pictorial representations or ornaments on floors and walls is one of the oldest means of artistic expression. They retain their unchanged functionality to this day. Universally usable in the bathroom, kitchen and living area, in a clear square shape, they unfold their aesthetic potential and leave you plenty of room for new accents. Combining striking color with geometric form, this product brings new splendor to the ancient artistic medium.
